PVCC Community Garden Hosts Area Gardeners

On Monday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m. the PVCC Community Garden will host a meeting of Charlottesville area community gardeners to discuss best practices in beneficial interplanting, succession planting and crop rotation. Community members are welcome.

This fall the PVCC Community Garden offers ongoing opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn about growing a variety of different cool-weather crops while volunteering in the garden. Harvested food is donated to the Haven Homeless Shelter and the Emergency Food Bank. For more information, please contact Sara Elizabeth, Environmental and Horticulture Club president, at garden@pvcc.edu.
